Robin Gorski | Kempwood and Gessner ( July 4, 1976)
« on: December 22, 2011, 03:19:09 PM »
A family friend of mine, Robin Gorski,  went missing on July 4, 1976.  She was living in an apartment off of Kempwood and Gessner.  Her friends last saw her when she was going to do laundry.  She never showed up to meet them later that day and they found her laundry at the laundry matt and her car still parked in the apartment complex.  They later found her decomposed remains, but the case remains unsolved.
God bless you, Robin.

I'm very sorry about your friend. I lived just a few blocks north of there in the 80's!

Was there a person of interest then? It seems likely she was taken by someone she knew.

I never had enough information or facts about the situation.  I know at the time Robin had become an RN and her job was at the hospital on Gessner and I-10.  She was working with newborns.   I don’t remember where I heard the news about them finding her remains, possibly on the news.  She had been missing for over a year and was decomposed badly.  I think she had her arms bound behind her and something about them finding a ring that belonged to her nearby.  Also something about her being found behind a church.
