Garnet Roy Kurry was found in the Buffalo Bayou at 69th st. Bridge, Houston Texas, on 3-11-70. He had been shot in the head, robbed, beaten. Police had a few leads, but nothing conclusive. This has been a cold case for over 40 years. Any thoughts, information is most welcome.

Interesting. I never heard of this one. If he was beaten, wonder if DNA can be extracted?

It is on the police report that skin was "knocked off" two of his knuckles, that's why the suspicion of some sort of scuffle was implied.

This is my father.  It is thought he was murdered by four Afro Americans, although there was never a completed investigation nor anyone convicted.  I wonder if anyone is interested in picking up this case and bring the investigation back to live.  Any thoughts anyone??

I am sorry about your father.

have you spoken to investigators at all and gotten an update?

It is never too late to process evidence and see if any suspects are alive.

I think this is worth it.
