Skeletal remains found two years ago in an abandoned east Houston home have been identified, officials say. Thursday, January 20, 2011.

[/size][/size]The remains were identified as Kimberly Booker, 43. Police said Booker's identity was verified through the Combined DNA Index System, or CODIS. The remains were found on the floor of a home in the 4600 block of the East Freeway Service Road near Waco Street on July 27, 2008. The victim suffered head wounds.[/size][/font][/color]
