On April 11, 2006, at approximately 10:00 p.m., 68-year-old Gladys Gunter answered a knock at her apartment door in the 7500 block of Beechnut. Ms. Gunter said a young tall, thin white male wearing a hooded shirt forced his way in, beat her and robbed her of about $50 cash before leaving.

Ms. Gunter said the hood obscured the suspect’s face. Ms. Gunter was hospitalized, but died June 22, 2006 of injuries from the beating.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and charging of any suspect(s) in this case.

Anyone with information on this case is urged

No one came to draw a picture of the face that she saw. That would have been a really good place to start. Did they look for fingerprints? Are ask around for any other information? Just wondering.

Its ashame That Poeple Have too Attack the Elderly!! I have Too agree why didn't anyone draw a sketch of the face she saw?

She probably could not describe it very well since it was covered. But you'd think by now someone would have figured out who did it and called the police to turn that weasel in.
