Ed Golden | 310 S Heights BLVD (April 1968)

Ed Golden was fould stabbed 56 times in a Travelodge hotel at 310 S. Heights Blvd in Houston, TX in 1968. 
His clothing was found on the side of the hwy in between Houston and Texas City by a Hitchcock, TX police officer.  He lived in Texas City, TX and played poker in the Houston, TX area.

9 times IMO sounds like a lot of anger or rage.

And being at a hotel when he was driving distance from home it would seem, sort of seems like maybe he was having an affair?

He was staying at the Trave Lodge because there was a near by poker game and he was a high stakes poker player.  We found the death certificate and it says stabbed 9 times chest and back.  He was found 06/18/1968 by his then wife Dorothy.  Dorothy later married my grandfather.  She is the person who called the incident into the police department.  Dorothy was a chemist for some company.  My grandfather died 4 years after they were married.  Her husband before Ed also died unexpectdly.

Ed Golden was built like a football player--not tall, but very muscular and stocky.
