Looking for a murder victim between 1980-1983
« on: April 27, 2010, 02:04:19 AM »
I don't know much about her, she was young probably in her mid teens, she was a prostitute, she was said to be drowned to death but she may also have been stabbed.  She was believed to be pregnant.  A man confessed to murdering a young pregnant girl before comitting suicide, he claimed the guilt was what made him take his own life.  He was also believed to have raped several prostitutes in the Houston area. I have spent a long time trying to find the victim, but apparently the 1980s were hard times for houston.  Its like looking for a needle in a haystack.  I don't know if her body has even been discovered.

Wow that is very sad. And yes, it might be like a needle in a hay stack, but eventually someone will recognize that description.

I hope someone on this site is able to help you with this.

That's very possible.   Are you still in touch with your friend? Any details she could give would really help.  The man who was supposed to have done this was named Wilburn.  He had a house with his brother Troy where they sold drugs and women.  A lot of girls lived there off and on, so even if he is not the same man who killed her friend, it's possible that if she was working around that time she may have run into or even stayed with them.
