JC Smith | Sarong Motel In The 5th Ward (1980)

In 1980 my great uncle JC Smith was killed in the 5th ward section of houston. The are of 5th ward was called french town. He was the owner of the motel and when he heard a disterbance he went to investigate. The person who murdered him simply opened the door and fired a shot gun, killing him instantly and without either of them speaking a word. The crime occured at the Sarong Motel in Houston Texas. I think that it happened in October or maybe November of 1980.
