Trying to find info on a murder at NASA Rd 1 (80's)

In the summer of 81 I went to summer school with a girl I think was named Susan or Suzanne, we were both about 18 years old at the time. Sometime (81-85) after I remember seeing her face in the newspaper. They said that she was at the Prickly Pear nightclub on Nasa Rd 1 (Clear Lake City)and at some point she was taken outside, strangled w her own pantyhose and left in a ditch or by the water. I have tried several times to get more info but keep running into cases very similar but not hers. Does this case sound familiar? If so I would like more info please! She is still in my heart after all these years. I remember she was tiny (under 5 ft) also she had long blonde hair and a beautiful face. I would appreciate any info, thanks Audrey

Without a name, it will be hard to find this. Might have to go to the library and use the newspaper archives to search for this.

Maybe someone there now, had worked back during that time period and remembers the story.
