I am trying to reach out to anyone that may have any information. My brother was killed in the early morning hours of March 24, 1990. He was out with a group of friends at some St. Mary's apartments on Sarita Street, off Broadway by Deady Middle School, when he and his friends got into an arguement with some other males. The other males waited in the parking lot and as my brother and friends were leaving my brother (only) was run over and thrown into the air. He was pronounced dead later that day after surgery.
Although people say with time things get better, in my case my brother was my best friends and think of him every morning and every night. Each day is a struggle and i miss him dearly. They had investigated some local (boys) from the neighborhood but never put alot of pressure and althoug they did find the car, it was cleaned and each kid had a contradicting story. So no charges were placed on any boys (ranging in ages 14-17).
i think the investigators did not put a full effort because my brother was no saint, he had his list of troubles never any prison or jail time, but he was young (19) and had been in some trouble.
All i want it some help if anyone knows anyone that is NOW willing to come forward and help us out. Maybe an old friend or an ex girlfriend that may know something. This has been the worst nightmare and i wish i could just wake up. I know its been 19 years but i dont think you could any details of a murder.

I'm sorry about your brother.

Have you asked the police for an update? Maybe 19 years later one of these guys will have more to say.

Yes i contact them every year at least 2 times a year, sadly they already know my voice over the phone. One of the original detectives retired last year but said my brothers case always kept him up at night. He said he never took the file off his desk. Maybe because i never gave him a chance. The case was also given to cold case experts and nothing still. We've even discussed doing a cold case show with my bothers case like you see on t.v to see if anyone comes forward, but i never heard back.
I cant really say catching the guys will give me closure, because i still feel i have an open wound. But it would be good to get a heartless murderer off the streets and i know would let my mother sleep better knowing the person or persons responsible for killing her oldest son take resposibility.

I understand. It must be frustrating for the police to it these cases.

It would be great if someone put this case on TV or in the newspaper. I am sure at least one of those people stay up at might too, filled with guilt and great sadness. I am sure at least one of them would love to get that burden lifted.
