Rhonda Lane Putnam - stabbing death - 08/30/1979 -

Homicide detectives said Wednesday they believe the stabbing death of a 27 year old woman whose body was found in northwest Houston is connected to a series of rapes and beatings that have occurred in that area this summer.  Homicide Detective Carl Kent said the Putnam slaying may be related.

would this be related to the Eugene Watts case? I am not sure if he was in Houston then or not.

I hope these could be solved.

Thank you, do not remember the Eugene Watts case.  I  hope to provide more info on status of case in 2011
