A Houston family is praying that their daughter's killer is caught.
On Saturday, the Ashford family took to the streets again, handing-out flyers with Irenena Ashford's picture on it.
“I just miss my baby so much," said Ashford’s mother Addie. Ashford was shot to death in October.
“We had just celebrated her birthday October the 14th and then she was killed October the 25th," said Ashford’s Cousin, Annika Andrews.
More than a month after the shooting, the EZ Loan store where Ashford worked is still closed as investigators try to find the men responsible for her death.
Surveillance images captured on the day Ashford was killed shows a red pickup truck in the store's driveway. Houston homicide investigators say one man jumped out of the truck, walked into the loan store and robbed it.
Based on video footage, before the suspect left the store, for reasons that remain unclear, he shot Ashford.
“This is a thirty-eight year old woman who put up no fight, no struggle. It was just a senseless murder," said investigator Todd Tyler with the Houston Police Department Homicide unit.
Reward money in the case has been doubled to $10,000.
The Ashford family hopes the extra reward money will lead to an arrest and conviction.
