Crime Stoppers and HPD Homicide Investigators are seeking information leading to the solution of the March 2, 2007 murder of 21-year-old Aaron Ibarra. Ibarra got into a confrontation with several other young Hispanic males while sitting in his car at Kevin’s Barber Shop, 1603 Gessner around 7:45 p.m. Gunfire erupted and Ibarra was shot dead at the scene. Witnesses said four to five Hispanic males left the scene in a 1990s white Lincoln Town Car. A composite of one suspect is featured above.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and charging of any suspect(s) in this case. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477). All callers remain anonymous.
