Karen Pretty, 28, Scott Pretty, 7, and Mark Pretty, 5, were found murdered in their home in Houston, Texas on May 10, 1978. Karen's hands and feet were bound with telephone cord. She was found in her bathtub and her two sons were found in the bathtub in another room. Their deaths resulted from a combination of strangulation and suffocation by drowning.
