Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division are asking for the public’s help in solving the fatal shooting of 27-year-old Jon Marx on January 25, 2007, at approximately 11:10 p.m.
Mr. Marx was on break outside his workplace at the Whataburger Restaurant at 2429 Gessner, when witnesses heard multiple gunshots.
Fellow employees called out for him, but he did not respond. Mr. Marx’s body was found lying on the ground at the back door.
Crime Stoppers and Whataburger Restaurants LP are offering up to $10,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and charging of any suspect(s) in this case. Anyone with information on the case is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477). All callers remain anonymous.
