Crime Stoppers and Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division are asking for the public’s help in solving the senseless murder of 57-year-old Guang Hua Shen on January 19, 2007, at approximately 9:50 p.m.
Mr. Shen and his wife were walking to their town home from a bus stop in the Sharpstown area when two masked men exited a small white sedan with chrome wheels and began firing at them. Mrs. Shen was not struck, but Mr. Shen was struck several times before the assailants fled the scene.
Mr. Shen was transported to Ben Taub hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Crime Stoppers and private sources are offering up to $30,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and charging of any suspect(s) in this case. Anyone with information on the case is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477). All callers remain anonymous.
