On January 24, 2007, at approximately 1:00 a.m., HPD officers responding to a shooting call in the 12800 block of Westmere found 44-year-old Mark Hunn lying in his neighbor’s front yard.
He was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead of a gunshot wound.
Witnesses reported seeing two suspects leaving the scene, one in Mr. Hunn’s green & beige 2002 Supercrew Ford F150 pickup truck. The truck was recovered later that day in the 15000 block of Blueridge along the Beltway 8 service road. The other vehicle was described as a white late-80s-to-early-90s 4-door car, possibly a mid-sized Mercury. One suspect was described as an unknown male, 5 ‘6 “ tall, weighing 150 to 160 pounds. He wore all black clothing, including a black knit cap. There is no description of the second suspect.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and charging of any suspects in this case.
