On Tuesday, September 13, 2005, at approximately 10:35 p.m., an unknown black male suspect shot and killed Chaz Kettner and Nick Munoz, both 20 years old, while seated in Nick Munoz’s vehicle at a gas pump island at the Shell Station at 2706 West Sam Houston Parkway.
Chaz Kettner died where he sat in the front seat. Nick Munoz left the vehicle and ran toward the service station, where he collapsed and died by the south side door. The suspect fled the scene in a green truck.
