On August 10, 1990, Jennifer Schuett was abducted through the bedroom window of her apartment in the 3200 block of Lobit.  At the time, Jennifer was eight years old.  Jennifer was found approximately twelve hours later across town in a vacant field in the 2100 block of California.

Jennifer had been sexually assaulted and her throat had been cut.  Jennifer was alive and was transported by Life Flight to UTMB in Galveston.  Jennifer survived her injuries and was able to give police a description of her attacker and the vehicle he was driving.

Dennis Earl Bradford, a 40-year-old welder, was arrested at 6:50 a.m. Tuesday in Little Rock, Arkansas, authorities said. He was on his way to work, and his wife was in the car with him.

DNA and other forensic testing led to him, authorities said. His DNA profile was in the FBI database due to a 1996 arrest in Arkansas.
