If I recall correctly, the woman who was murdered was an unlikely victim. I believe I read somewhere that she was a college student at Houston Baptist, was quite religious and pretty much kept to herself (not a bar-hopper or into drugs or anything else that would have put her at high risk for any sort of criminal activity).

It seemed as though her story did not receive much media attention, and I always wondered about her family (why they didn't demand more media attention and publicity) and if there was more to the victim's story than reports let on.

Tragic, regardless.

So sad there were so many errors. Thankfully not enough to spring this man free. Glad it is solved. Hope they correct that ever issues they have in the police dept.
